How to choose a digital invitation for your wedding in Guatemala

A beautiful invitation is a starting point. Compare how guests will RSVP, who prepares changes and what the price includes. This guide is written by Weddimi, which offers this service; it is not an independent ranking of providers.

1. Choose the format you need

An image or PDF may be enough to share the date and venue. If you need maps, an updated schedule, languages or organised RSVPs, ask to see how each part works in the option you are considering.

Open the sample from WhatsApp on your phone. Check that names are readable, that the map opens the right location and that key details are easy to find. If you will use photographs, review a sample with a similar number to the photos you have.

2. Check how RSVPs come together

Ask whether each guest or household gets a personal link, how guest allowances work and where you will see replies. A confirmation that arrives in a chat requires different organisation from a list collected in a dashboard.

For guests outside Guatemala, try the languages and make sure times clearly refer to local wedding times. Ask for a test walkthrough showing both what a household sees and what you can check.

3. Agree who prepares and maintains the invitation

Distinguish between a tool you edit yourself and a service that prepares the invitation with you. Each suits different couples: consider your time, your materials and how much guidance you need.

Before booking, confirm who adds photos and wording, when you will see a first version, how many adjustment rounds are included and what happens if the venue or time changes. Ask how long the link will stay online.

4. Compare the full cost

Request a proposal with the final price, scope, time online and conditions for changes. Check whether the design comes from a collection or is developed for you. If card gifts are offered, ask separately about currency, fees, who covers them and transfer timelines.

Weddimi’s collection costs Q990 per wedding: one of our three designs personalised, Spanish and English, household links, an RSVP dashboard, one year online from first publication and two adjustment rounds. Gift activation is optional and included; processing fees are agreed separately. Bespoke design is quoted above the collection price according to the work.

5. Decide after exploring a complete sample

Choose with more than a cover screenshot. Try the schedule, map, photos and RSVP walkthrough. To understand the couple’s side, request a dashboard demonstration without real customer data.

Our Lucía and Gabriel sample is fictional and lets you explore without saving replies or making payments. Use it to decide whether the style and wedding organisation suit you. If you have another visual idea, you can request a bespoke design proposal.
