A guide for couples

How to send your wedding invitation on WhatsApp.

A warm message and the right link make your invitation feel personal. Organise your messages by household and keep the wedding details inside the invitation.

1. Check the details guests ask about most

Open the invitation on your phone and check names, date, time, venue and map links. Review the English version if your guests need it. Agree an RSVP deadline and make sure it is easy to find.

Test the experience with us before sending: opening the link, understanding who is invited and finding the RSVP. Questions about children, additional guests or dress code are best answered in the invitation details.

2. One link for each household

With Weddimi, each invited household or group has its own link and included people. Check these groups before sharing. The correct link helps organise responses without relying on names typed into a chat.

Send each link in that household's private conversation. Avoid publishing personal links in statuses, social media or general groups: they belong to specific recipients. The public sample shows the design; it is not the link your guests will use.

3. Write a short welcome

Your WhatsApp message can be simple: who is inviting, why you are excited and where to RSVP. Keep schedules, maps and recommendations inside the invitation so everyone checks the same information.

Hi Ana and Luis! We'd love to celebrate our wedding with you. Here is your invitation with the details and RSVP: [your personal link]. Could you please reply by [date]? With love, [your names].

4. Check responses and send a warm reminder

Use your dashboard to distinguish households that have replied from those still outstanding. You can manually send the latter a short reminder with the same link and deadline.

A WhatsApp reply does not automatically update your dashboard. Ask guests to RSVP through the invitation; if someone needs help, agree with Weddimi how to record or correct the response. We do not promise bulk messages or automatic reminders.
